During the last months, the plant capacity in our cGMP manufacturing
facility MPA-P3 has been increased.
After a construction period of only 12 months we now have available two
additional production line of 3,000 l, and 6,000 l, resp.
Each production line consists of a reactor, a crystallizer, the centrifuge and dryer. All lines are operated independently. The equipment is separated by air locks for material and operators, thus, any contamination of the products can be excluded.
Additionally, it is equipped with Cryogenic reactor of 2.500 l volume. The qualification of this new production line has been completed successfully. The Cryogenic reactor is fully integrated in a new production line and allows to carry our reactions a temperature of -100 ° C.
Furthermore, this new special reactor can also be used for pressure reactions up to bar 25.
By embedding this reactor into the existing cGMP system concept, it is now possible to perform both low temperature and pressure reactions under the most modern conditions and the highest regulatory standards.
By this increase of the reactor capacity at CU Chemie Uetikon GmbH, we can now offer a total reaction volume of 92 cubic meters. Furthermore, an additional 100l Cryoreactor in our Kilo-Lab is currently under qualification and will be available from April 2010. This reactor completes our series of Cryoreactor, now spanning a range from 1 liter to 5 liters in the laboratory, specifically designed for low temperature chemistry, the new Cryoreactor in the kilo laboratory, and the production reactor for low temperatures in the MPA-P3. We can now offer the full range of a development platform for Low Temperature Reactions.
